SYNERGIA - Resolving the internal competition

The competition for participation in the implementation part, in the 2nd edition in SYNERGIA, has been resolved. The project of the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw, in consortium with the State County Sanitary and Epidemiological Station of the Capital City of Warsaw, was the winner: “Synergy and development of key competences as an investment in human capital in the structure of the State Sanitary Inspection of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship”.

Congratulations to the winner of the competition and we would like to thank the other participants for their involvement in the preparation of implementation projects!

Implementation project

The aim of the implementation project of the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw is to develop the competences of the management staff of the State Sanitary Inspection in Mazovia, train mentors and implement a comprehensive training program for people starting work. The institution will receive support in the field of employee training in the implementation of good practices, consultant care and funds for the first stage of implementation of the new solution.

Competition

4 institutions of the Project Participants from Poland joined the internal competition for the implementation of good practices:

  • Łukasiewicz Center
  • Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw in consortium with the State County Sanitary and Epidemiological Station of the Capital City of Warsaw
  • The office of Competition and Consumer Protection
  • West Pomeranian Voivodship Office in Szczecin

The substantive value of all prepared competition applications was very highly appreciated by the members of the Competition Committee. The prepared management challenges and their nature emphasize the need to implement solutions for the management of the institution in public administration, developed during the implementation of the education program.

Over the next six months, the process of implementing the solutions proposed by the winning institution in the thematic scope of the reported management challenge will be carried out. After the implementation period, a post-implementation report will be prepared by the institution’s implementation team and a shadow report by an implementation consultant.

The aim of the Synergia project

The aim of the project is to develop the competences of senior management in public administration and to prepare, on the basis of a cooperation network of public administration executives from Central and Eastern Europe, a new educational and cooperation program and to implement the solutions developed during the implementation of the program in practice.

  • Hungarian University of Public Service (UPS),
  • Latvian School of Public Administration (LSPA).
