On July 4-5, 2023, an online peer learning session was held for participants in the 4th edition of SYNERGIA project. The session was attended by representatives of public administration institutions from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.

On June 14-16, 2023, the seventh training session took place in Riga (Latvia), as part of the 4th edition of the Synergia project. The session was attended by representatives of public administration from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.

Competition for participation in the implementation part of the 4th edition

We are pleased to announce that the winners of SYNERGIA 4th edition implementation competition are:

  • the Main Inspectorate of Commercial Quality of Agricultural and Food Products, who has filed a project entiteled “Building a supportive work culture at IJHARS, through project management, with an appetite for evolutionary turquoise”
  • the Masovian Voivodship Office with the project „Preparation of assumptions for the implementation of an IT tool for project management at the MUW”

According to Project Regulations two winners are selected in course of the 4th edition implementation competition.

Competition

12 institutions of Project Participants from Poland joined the internal competition for the implementation of good practices

All the prepared competition applications were evaluated by the members of the Competition Commission as being of high merit.

 

Implementation

The goal of the implementation part in SYNERGIA project is to implement a change in public administration institutions, based on the good practices presented during the education and cooperation program. More on implementation: https://synergia.ksap.gov.pl/en/home/.

 

Purpose of the Synergy Project

The aim of the project is to develop the competencies of senior managers in public administration and to prepare, on the basis of the cooperation network of managers in public administration from Central and Eastern European countries, a new educational and cooperative program and to implement the solutions developed during the program in practice.

 

Partners

The project is implemented in a transnational partnership:

  • National School of Public Administration named after the President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczynski (KSAP),
  • Bulgarian Institute of Public Administration (IPA),
  • Hungarian University of Public Service (UPS),
  • Latvian School of Public Administration (LSPA).

Financing of the project

The project is co-financed by the state budget and European funds under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund.

Synergia online session 4-5.07.2023

On July 4-5, 2023, an online peer learning session was held for participants in the 4th edition of SYNERGIA project. The session was attended by representatives of public administration institutions from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.

Purpose of the session

The session was designed to allow participants of SYNERGIA 4th edition to share their experiences and reflect on the relevance of the project for public administration. Participants had the opportunity to adapt the methods presented during the previous sessions to the current challenges facing the administration. During the session, through discussions and case analysis, they learned how to implement selected SYNERGIA good practices in their work.

 

 

Form of implementation

During the Open Space Technology session, participants were free to choose and organize topics. One of the important issues, raised during the session concerned motivation of public administration employees. Participants exchanged ideas and strategies that can help encourage employees to be fully engaged and work effectively. They shared their successes and challenges related to building motivation and creating a friendly, inspiring work environment.

 

 

 Another important topic was communication within the organization. Participants discussed effective methods of communication in public administration, both within the institution and in relation with citizens. They discussed the importance of transparency, clarity of message and respect in the communication process, and exchanged best practices that can help build a positive atmosphere.

Synergia – 7th training session in Riga, Latvia

On June 14-16, 2023, the seventh training session took place in Riga (Latvia), as part of the 4th edition of the Synergia project. The session was attended by representatives of public administration from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.

 

Purpose of the session

The aim of the session was to provide participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to analyze and manage processes in the organization and to present inspiration in the field of forms of work in public administration as part of the Future Office project.

Program

During the three-day session, classes in the following thematic areas are planned:

  • process management,
  • project management in the public sector,
  • management by objectives,
  • leadership.

Participants were familiarized with the principles and concepts aimed at improving efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and quality of services. Participants took part in a Lego simulation game, during which they could plan, implement and evolve the course of processes, so as to see in practice what should be taken into account when planning changes in the field of process efficiency.

In the second part of the session program, good practices in the field of work organization in public administration were presented as part of the Future Office project and interesting solutions for the use of AI in the field of translation in public administration – an original Latvian project. An inspiring element of the program was also the presentation of Latvia’s development strategy – comprehensive information containing guidelines for the development of the state in strategically important areas (innovative economy, culture, national identity, tourism, etc.).

Implementation workshop - part two. VI Warsaw session of SYNERGIA

On June 6, 2023, the second part of the online implementation workshops for participants of the 4th edition of the SYNERGIA project took place. The workshop was attended by representatives of public administration institutions from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.

6th training session

During the implementation session, an analysis of the management challenges of individual institutions – participants, was carried out in terms of relevance and continuous improvement of the proposed solutions.

Participants, when applying for the project, present in the application form the management challenge they would like to work on during the training part. In this way, they prepare to create a project to implement appropriate solutions in their home institutions, based on good practices presented during the training program.

Form of implementation

The session was carried out online, on the MS TEAMS platform.

Classes were held from 9:00 to 12:00.
