SYNERGIA - MENTORING training, as part of the implementation part of the 2nd edition, 19-21.09.2022
On 19-21 September 2022, the MENTORING training for the Voivodship Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw is taking place in KSAP.
The Voivodship Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw (WSSE) is the winner of the competition for the best implementation project under the 2nd edition of SYNERGIA project.
Together with Poviat Stations, the WSSE implements a project which aims at developing key competences of employees of the State Sanitary Inspection of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The main tasks in the project focus on training of a group of mentors and implementing comprehensive training for newly hired employees, who are just starting to work in the structures of the Mazowieckie Sanitary Inspection.
The following topics are covered in the mentoring training program:
- introduction to mentoring including: mentoring models, stages of mentoring, building and structuring a mentoring session, mentoring in the organization;
- mentor’s competences and workshop including: understanding and (self) development of the mentor’s role, communication between the mentor and the mentee, working with goals and planning, techniques for conducting sessions;
- recognizing and working with the needs of the mentee including building a mentoring contract;
- benefits and risks related to the implementation of mentoring, dealing with difficulties;
preparation of an implementation action plan for Mazovian Sanitary Inspection structures.
Training sessions are conducted by two qualified trainers – Tomasz Cichocki and Katarzyna Wąsowska-Bąk.
The training is carried out in a hybrid form: 3 days of the training are held at the premises of KSAP (19-21/09/2022), and then one follow-up session will be held online (26/09/2022).
