Synergia - 7th session in the 2nd edition
On January 11-13, 2022, the 7th session of the 2nd edition of the SYNERGIA project will take place. The session will be attended by representatives of public administration institutions from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.
Program
The session program consists of three parts: an educational session, an implementation workshop and the first part of a peer learning session.
As part of the educational part, classes in the following thematic areas are planned:
- strategic management in public administration,
- risk management,
- performance management,
- project management.
The aim of the implementation workshop and peer-learning sessions will be to exchange experiences of participants’ representatives on the possibility of implementing good practices, presented earlier during training classes, and to develop effective recommendations for their implementation in public administration institutions. How to go from the theory of good practice to its practical implementation? How to prepare an effective implementation plan? What to follow and what should you pay attention to? These are only some of the questions that the participants of the session will consider together.
Form of implementation
The session will be conducted online on the MS TEAMS platform.
Classes will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We invite you to participate in the 3rd edition of the SYNERGIA project – a network of cooperation and exchange of experiences of high-level officials from Central and Eastern Europe.
Objective of the project
The aim of the project is to prepare, on the basis of a cooperation network of management staff in public administration from Central and Eastern Europe, a new educational and cooperation program and implementation of management solutions developed during the implementation of the program in the institution participating in the project selected in an internal competition.
Project participants
The project participant is a public administration institution that delegates its representatives to participate in the project, i.e. senior management. Detailed information on the target group: https://synergia.ksap.gov.pl/en/target-group/
The Synergia project is a unique opportunity for professional development in broadly understood administration, focusing on development of senior positions management competencies.

Synergia – 6th -session training in Warsaw
On 1 – 3 December 2021 sixth training session – stationary session, took place in Warsaw at KSAP. The session was attended by representatives of public administration from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary.
Program
The session program includes activities in the following thematic areas:
- The use IT in public administration
- Project management in public administration
- Risk management
The purpose of the session was:
- learning about the principles of managing the digital transformation of the organization,
- emphasizing the importance of IT architecture in institutions;
- introducing the topic of Agile culture development in the organization;
- project life cycle analysis, including planned, implementation and monitoring of project effectiveness;
- presentation of tools limiting making wrong decisions in key areas of organization management.
Course of the session
During the session, project participants analyzed the process of creating an entity’s digital transformation strategy and managing digitization in a transforming organization, using appropriate management and leadership styles. During the classes on project planning and management, the project life cycle was monitored and appropriate tools were selected to manage each stage of the project. The agile methodologies recommended by the leaders were analyzed in terms of barriers to their use in public administration. Considering the options of risk management, participants learned about effective tools for risk analysis and minimizing its impact on the implemented project.
The session was marked by the Harvard case method – and was carried out in compliance with social safety standards.
The aim of the Synergia project
The aim of the Synergia project is:
- preparation of a new educational and cooperation program on the basis of a cooperation network of management staff in public administration from Central and Eastern Europe,
- implementation of the solutions developed during the implementation of the program in practice.
